Dr. Joseph A. Narde, DDS invites young dental patients to make their first visit to Willow Point Dental around the age of three. If parents have any concerns or questions before this age, we are happy to assist in whatever way we can.
Our goal is to establish a rapport with pediatric patients, and ease them into more in-depth appointments as they mature and their comfort level increases. We want to establish regular care at a young age, but we want initial dental experiences to be pleasant ones rather than forcing care before the child can reasonably accept it. We will use the first visits to explain the new environment and the unfamiliar tools to the child along with the parent, so the experience can be understood and not turn into a subject of fear.
For patients of any age who require a little relaxation for their treatments, we offer safe and effective nitrous oxide gas, as needed. As children mature or need more involved care, we will work with them to ensure comfort throughout treatment. If care is still too stressful in the Willow Point Dental environment, we do have local pediatric dentists available who accept referrals.
We encourage family visits to put the child at ease, and to have the parent share in developing good dental habits by example. We have designed our office to be a welcoming place for all our patients and have added little touches that make visits more enjoyable.
We offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of pediatric patients, including preventive care, such as checkups, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants. We provide restorative treatments, using the least invasive method possible, and innovative materials for optimal results. One example is a unique treatment called ozone therapy, used in various procedures to aid in removal of destructive bacteria. Early attention allows us to monitor patients as they grow and develop, and to anticipate orthodontic and spacing needs. We provide a comprehensive array of orthodontic services, as well.
